WHAT WE BELIEVE
Faith Rooted in Love
We are a Christian community seeking to follow Jesus and grow in love of God and neighbor. Our faith is rooted in scripture and tradition, but we believe questions, curiosity, and different perspectives are part of a living faith.

Faith is a journey
We don’t expect everyone in our church to understand God, scripture, or faith in exactly the same way. We come from different backgrounds, carry different questions, and sometimes reach different conclusions.
What holds us together is not complete agreement, but a shared desire to follow Jesus—to love God, love our neighbors, seek justice, practice compassion, and grow together in faith.
What shapes our faith
Our faith is shaped by several commitments that guide how we worship, learn, serve, and live together.
JESUS
We seek to follow Jesus, whose life and teachings show us a way of love, compassion, justice, forgiveness, and hope.
SCRIPTURE
We take the Bible seriously, reading it with curiosity and care, attentive to its history and context and open to the ways it continues to speak today.
COMMUNITY
We believe faith grows in relationship. We learn from one another, care for one another, and make room for questions and different perspectives.
LOVE IN ACTION
We believe faith calls us beyond ourselves—to serve our neighbors, seek justice, care for creation, and work for a world where all people can flourish.

God is Still Speaking
As part of the United Church of Christ, we believe faith is not frozen in the past. We listen for the ways God is still speaking through scripture, tradition, reason, experience, and one another.
That means we can take our Christian tradition seriously while continuing to ask questions, learn, and respond faithfully to a changing world.
Our welcome is part of our faith
We believe every person is created in the image of God and worthy of dignity, love, and belonging.
As an Open and Affirming congregation, we welcome people of every sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression into the full life and ministry of our church. Our welcome also reaches across differences of age, race, ability, family structure, economic circumstance, and where you may be on your journey of faith.
